Now in its 26th year, The 26th World-OKTA Leaders Convention and Business Plaza, a prestigious event will take place in Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, a city renowned as the cultural and historical treasure trove of South Korea. The event will be held over four days, from April 28th to May 1st, 2025.
For the past 44 years since its establishment, World-OKTA has fostered an unparalleled network through the World Leaders Convention, bringing together Korean business leaders, SMEs aspiring for global expansion, institutional representatives, and World-OKTA members. This gathering serves as a vital platform for sharing global economic insights, forging business connections, and fostering growth and collaboration.
In particular, this year’s convention will feature KOREA BUSINESS EXPO, World-OKTA’s global brand, which was successfully introduced in Vienna, Austria, in October 2024.
As the first KOREA BUSINESS EXPO to be held in Korea, this event aims to support domestic SMEs in navigating challenging global market conditions, exploring new business opportunities, and achieving substantial success on the international stage.
With over 250 Korean SMEs setting up booths and an anticipated attendance of approximately 2,000 business professionals, including World-OKTA members and overseas buyers from 151 chapters across 70 countries, this event will serve as a driving force for expanding Korea’s economic influence and realizing a global Korean economic community.
As the largest economic organization representing 7.5 million overseas Koreans, World-OKTA is committed to contributing to Korea’s economic revitalization, job creation for young professionals, and regional development through this convention.
Additionally, we have prepared a variety of cultural and business programs, blending commerce with arts and culture, including a book fair, sculpture exhibition, and classical music performances. This event will provide a harmonious and festive atmosphere, set against the backdrop of Andong’s beautiful spring scenery.
